Admission Guidelines & Procedures
Admission is open to both boys and girls.

 Eligibility Criteria: The candidate should have passed Class X or equivalent from a recognized Board, i.e. 10-year study course. Must have passedin subjects of Mathematics and Science.

Students must note that a strong foundation in English, Mathematics and Science is essential forpersue the Engineering Diploma courses offered

Minimum Age: 15 years as on 1st July 2010.

Preference will be given to local candidates. Certain seats will be nominated by the HRD Department,Government of Sikkim3% reservation for physically challenged candidates*33% reservation for women candidates with 10% discount in
tuition fees.3% reservation for physically challenged candidates. *conditions apply

Selection : Based on the performance in Class X, Class XII (if any) and other certificates relating to sports, extra and co curricular, awards etc., received along with the application form, points will be awarded as per the internal selection
procedure of ATTC and CCCT. A merit list will beprepared based on the points scored.

Merit lists for selected and wait-listed candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board of, ATTC, Bardang, And CCCT, Chisopani and in the web sites of the institutions on 19th June 2010. Individual intimation will not be sent. The candidates are required to contact these offices to find out if they have been selected for admission. Guidelines and procedure for admission will be published along with the merit list.

Admission to respective courses of ATTC and CCCT will be offered through a common counseling session as per the rank in the merit list. Merit list on1st July 2010.

All documents will be subject to verification

If it comes to the notice of the Institute that a candidate does not fulfill any of the requisite prescribed eligibility conditions, his/her candidature may be rejected irrespective of his name appearing in the list of successful/waitlisted
candidates or even after he/she has beenadmitted.

Merit listed candidates are required to report to the venue on 1st July 2010, as notified under Guidelines and Procedures for Admission, declared along with the merit list. They must bring along all Certificates in original and Form Acknowledgement Card for counseling. Candidate must appear in person along with their parents/ guardians.
Names will be called out as per the rank in the merit list. They will be counseled for seats available in different courses and after course choice finalization, be asked to proceed for registration for the course. Change in course after registration is not permitted*. Registration will be on First Come First Serve basis; after names have been called out. Candidates who do not turn up during this process will lose their chance for counseling and the seat will be offered to the next candidate in merit. After registration, undertaking forms have to be signed by both the candidate
and parent/guardian, and due payment completed at a local bank only after which Admission Letters will be issued. Those who Register but fail to clear dues within two days will lose their seat and will be offered to wail listed candidates. Hostel admission formalities have to be done along with registration and is subject to availability. The Admission Letter will contain details of reporting for the new session. *At Principal’s discretion.
